We offer free delivery on all parcels over R1000. This applies to orders delivered in South Africa only. Any order under the value of R1000 will be charged a flat delivery fee of R100.
For deliveries outside of South Africa, the price of delivery will be calculated at checkout. We have multiple options available for you to choose from depending on your needs. We currently offer delivery to a wide range of countries.
All VAT, Duties, Freight Costs & Currency costs are excluded in the price on the site. Once your parcel has been cleared through Customs you will be liable for any additional charges.
Delivery can take between two to three business days for delivery to any major centres.
Regional and remote areas may take longer for delivery.
All orders placed before 12:30 will be processed on the same day as the order was placed. Any order placed after 12:30 cannot be guaranteed to be shipped off on the same day as the order being placed.
Should an order be placed after the cut of time it will be shipped off the following business day.
Once an order has been shipped we cannot change the delivery address as the delivery information has been handed over to the courier.

If your delivery was not made through no fault of ours (e.g. you were not home, unable to accept delivery etc.) we will attempt a second delivery and we or our courier may try to make contact with you to try to arrange a delivery time that would best suit you.
If the second delivery is missed your parcel will be take to the local courier branch. If this is the case you will need to get in touch with us, or the local courier branch to make arrangements to have the parcel delivered. You can get in touch with us to put you in touch with your local courier branch.
We offer a to-door delivery service. That means that the parcel is delivered to the address provided and not the person. What this means is that if the parcel is delivered to the address and you are not available to accept it, it may be delivered to anyone at the address i.e. receptionist, security etc. Please ensure that someone you trust is at the address provided to accept the parcel.
We can make delivery to any address except P.O. Boxes.
Deliveries are made between 8am and 5pm. Please endure that you use an address that you, or someone that you trust, to sign for your parcel.
While we do not offer this service natively on the site, if you would like to arrange to collect your own parcel or to use your own courier service please contact us.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either repair / replace it or credit your account, subject to the terms below. This policy applies to products bought from Planet Hockey.
You are welcome to return products that are unwanted at no extra cost to you given the below.
Items will be inspected upon arrival and the client will be notified if they items qualify for a refund or exchange. Refunds will be processed within two working days and may be subject bank processing delays of up to seven business days. Transport costs for the item(s) will be the responsibility of the client in such a case. Should it be necessary Planet Hockey can arrange for a collection of the good, the cost of which will be deducted from the refund amount.
We will happily exchange any product for a bigger / smaller size if such a variant is available. In such a case we will arrange for a collection of the original order from you - at no extra cost to you - and once we receive the item(s) we will inspect the products to ensure they they comply with the above stipulations. Should everything be in order we will send off the new item(s) as described in our delivery policy.
If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you or if the product is not as described on the Website (or if it is missing any accessories), please notify us and we will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will - at your choice - deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); or refund your for the original purchase price as described by our refund procedure below.
Should you receive your order and the item(s) be damaged please let us know immediately by getting in touch with us either via email or by giving us a call. Please be sure to have your order number on hand.
We will arrange to collect the product(s) from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product(s) and validated your return, we will, at your choice, repair / replace the product as soon as possible (if such repair / replacement is possible) or refund you with the original purchase price of the product. Refunds are normally handled within 2 days of logging the return (bear in mind that refunds can take 1-4 working days to reflect in your account). Repairs and replacements could take longer, depending on parts / replacement availability.
We strive to deliver products that are of a high quality and without any defects.
What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section 3:
If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories that were sold with that product, we are entitled (subject to applicable law) to refuse the return, only to replace the item that you did return, or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and only to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item.
If you return items to us by mistake and you want these returned to you, you may be liable to reimburse Planet Hockey for the cost of having the product returned to you.
If you return a product that does not comply with this policy, you may be liable to reimburse Planet Hockey for the cost of collecting the product from you and the cost of having the product returned to you.
